Lochcarron’s principle in manufacturing is to mix tradition with the modern techniques and technologies available today. We work with traditional Hattersleys at Lochcarron in the north of Scotland, and state of the art Sulzer looms in our mills in the beautiful Scottish borders. Whether coping with the demands of a busy fashion industry or servicing the traditional markets nearer home, the blend of many years of working experience and the availability of the highest standard of cutting edge equipment allows enables us to serve a wide variety of markets. Having our own dye house allows us to quickly match the customer’s own shades in an ever demanding market. The flexibility in our preparation department allows us to present sample lengths and bulk requirements to our weaving machines efficiently. A continuous investment in workforce training as well as the upgrading and replacement of plant and machinery will ensure our position at the forefront of the world’s textile industry. |
